1.3 Million MATIC Tokens are purchased by an Ethereum whale with 38 trillion SHIB.


 "Light," the fourth-largest Ethereum whale according to WhaleStats, has expanded his holdings by purchasing 1,337,000 MATIC tokens, worth $3,315,760. According to CoinMarketCap data, Polygon (MATIC) is the 14th largest cryptocurrency after Shiba Inu. MATIC was trading at $2.49 at press time, down 2.48 percent in the previous 24 hours.


According to data provided by WhaleStats, the "Light" whale continues to bet primarily on Shiba Inu. The dog-themed coin accounts for 27.31 percent of his holdings, worth $4,705,346,887 in total.

Shiba Inu is the whale's most valuable token, having a balance of 38 trillion Shiba Inu tokens, or $1,285,129,470.

PornHub DAO is in second place with 20.37 percent, followed by Ethereum with 13.62 percent and a market capitalization of $640,886,140. CRO, Enjin Coin, USDT, WBTC, and other coins are also held by the whale.

The number of Shiba Inu whales in the wild is steadily increasing.

The top 100 Shiba Inu owners have also grown their portfolios, with WhaleStats reporting a 2.36 percent gain in this group's average SHIB balance. At press time, the average SHIB value had increased by 3.4 percent, while the 24-hour volume had increased by 519.55 percent to $21,368,644.


Shiba Inu active addresses in the top 100 have climbed by 16.67 percent in the previous 24 hours, maintaining SHIB's position as the most valuable token in terms of dollar value.

The Shiba Inu network is also expanding, with over 114,450 new users joining since it passed the one million mark a little over a month ago, bringing the total number of Shiba Inu owners to 1,114,450.

Many holders are a significant determinant of the asset's future in terms of basic growth. As the price consolidates its next move for 2022, Shiba Inu is trading marginally lower at $0.0000334.
