According to a recent tweet from the on-chain data provider WhaleStats, the top 100 whale investors in Ethereum-based tokens have once more been acquiring enormous amounts of Shiba Inus.
The largest portion of their portfolio at the time of writing is made up of the second-largest meme cryptocurrency.
SHIB BECOMES THE WHALES' MOST VALUABLE ASSET.
According to the tweet from the aforementioned data source, Shiba Inu has now made it into the top ten list of the most popular digital assets on the Ethereum network.
SHIB is also the largest cryptocurrency held by these whales in terms of its USD worth, according to the website of this platform.
Shiba Inu is a popular meme token that whales have recently
been accumulating, and as of right now, their compromised portfolio holds 22.35
percent of it, or $559,974,432 worth of it.
WHALE SNATCHES ALMOST ONE BILLION SHIB
The Lord of the Rings author J.R.R. Tolkien's iconic novel "The Lord of the Rings" inspired Gimli, a prominent Ethereum investor, to name his wallet after one of the main dwarf characters. Gimli acquired a staggering 750 billion SHIB coins and transferred them to his wallet in three transactions totaling 250 billion coins each.
This investor purchased this many meme coins for a stunning $8.4 million in total.
